Our client is seeking a personable and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join a high-performing team in Hamilton. If you're passionate about interiors, love building rapport with customers, and enjoy leading by example, this could be your next big move.

What you will be rewarded with

The role:

You'll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager with daily operations, while leading your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and smash sales targets. This is a 12-month maternity leave cover with a very strong potential for long-term progression in the company.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has proven leadership experience in retail, ideally within furniture, big box, or large-format settings.
  • Demonstrates strong consultative sales and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Confident in managing the full sales process, including administration.
  • Communicates with clarity, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Thrives in small teams and excels at fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Consistently exceeds sales and KPI targets.
