CNC Plasma Operator (Weekend Shift)

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC / Plasma / Laser Operator to join their team on the weekend shift. This role involves operating CNC cutting machines to process steel components to precise specifications. You’ll be working with plasma and laser cutting equipment, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining a safe work environment.

Work duties include:- Operate CNC, plasma, and laser cutting machines to cut and shape steel
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Perform machine setup and basic maintenance
- Ensure quality control and accurate measurements
- Follow health & safety protocols in an industrial environment
- Previous experience operating CNC, plasma, or laser cutting machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling in a workshop setting
- Reliable and available for Friday-Sunday shifts
- Own transport to get to the site in West Auckland
