The role contains a variety of commercial and private work. We have a huge variety of work coming through the workshop door or out in the field. An open mind and a can-do attitude is a must, and customer satisfaction is a high priority.

Auto Electrician job responsibilities- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and computer-controlled systems used in automotive technology such
- Determine if a repair, upgrade, or new installation is required and carry out the process accordingly
- Provide an accurate break down of the time and costs involved to repair the identified fault
- Calibrate and test any electrical components and wiring following installation, repair, or upgrade
- Service or replace defective electrical parts and wiring
- Order parts and equipment as required
- Install and test immobilizer, alarm systems and electrically operated accessories such as radios and air
- Install/upgrade accessories
- Test headlight strength and alignment
- Safely use hand and electrical tools
- Follow all relevant safety guidelines and procedures
- Working with computer-controlled engine management systems
- Servicing, identifying and repairing faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems
- Installing and maintaining automotive electrical equipment
- Reading and following wiring diagrams, and creating electrical circuits using a variety of inputs/outputs and
- Diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical and air-conditioning faults
- Completing job card using SAM computer software
