  • ll play a key role in our CardiothoracicAnaesthesia team, contributing to acute and elective care across a wide varietyof surgical specialities, including Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery,Trauma, Paediatric/Neonatal surgery, and more.

This position includesparticipation in an out-of-hours cardiac on-call roster.This fixedterm role is offered full time, comprising 28 half-day clinical sessions over a4-week cycle, plus non-clinical and on-call responsibilities.You willbring a broad range of clinical anaesthesia expertise (excluding Obstetrics),with a strong focus on Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia.

Post-fellowship experienceof at least 12 months in this subspecialty is essential.About theTeam / Service / LocationTheDepartment of Anaesthesia at Christchurch Hospital is a large, ANZCA-accreditedtraining department with an established team of highly experienced specialistsand trainees.
