Weekend Bar Staff (Friday & Saturday-afternoon and evenings)
About the role
We are seeking friendly and energetic bar staff to join our team, providing excellent customer service and quality drinks to our customers. In this varied role, you’ll be expected to look after everyone from local regulars during the day to groups of friends enjoying a night on the town.
Hours available (15-20hours a week)
Responsibilities
Mixing and preparing a range of different drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
Taking food orders and delivering to tables
Welcoming customers to the bar and taking orders, making recommendations where appropriate
Processing payments including handling cash and eftpos transactions
Cleaning the bar and surrounding areas to maintain a sanitary environment
Checking identification of customers when necessary, confirming customers meet legal drinking age
Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
Adhering to all food and beverage regulations
Candidate requirements:
Previous experience working in a customer facing environment preferred but full training will be provided
Able to work flexible shifts (evenings and weekends included)
Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional appearance
Duty Manager
We are currently looking for a full time duty managers to join our team here at Diva Bar. The role will be a minimum of 30hours per week.
The right candidate would possess the following qualities and become an integral part of the Diva family

Love for the venue and products being sold
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Applicants will need to hold a current LCQ and a General Manager's license or fit the criteria to obtain one.
Must have at least 1 year experience in a similar environment
Shifts may include working days, nights and weekends
The position will involve:
Leading, motivating and supporting the front of house team. Ensuring everyone is aware of their responsibilities for the shift.
Ensuring shifts are managed smoothly, all customers are greeted and leave happy.
Managing booking enquiries, preparing the table and staff plan for each shift and managing walkins.
Ensuring we are compliant with the liquor act at all times.
Opening/ Closing the bar and ensuring all cleaning and security checks are carried out.
Manage customer complaints promptly
