Join our team at HYPERCON LIMITED, a well-established construction company experiencing rapid growth. As part of our expansion, we are seeking skilled Bricklayers to join our workforce.

• Reviewing construction plans and specifications to determine the materials, dimensions, and installation methods required.
• Setting up and dismantling low-height scaffolding as necessary.
• Applying moisture-resistant materials to foundations and spreading mortar layers to create a secure base and binder for building blocks using trowels.
• Placing bricks, pre-cut stones, and other building materials into mortar to build or repair walls, partitions, arches, segmental paving, and various other structures.
• Embedding blocks into mortar, removing any excess, and ensuring accurate vertical and horizontal alignment throughout the process.
• Shaping, cutting, and finishing bricks and stones using hand tools or machinery, and customizing pieces to fit into irregular spaces.
• Designing, engraving, and inscribing lettering on monumental masonry.
• Constructing walls using large masonry blocks or stone slabs.
• Cutting, polishing, joining, and installing stone kitchen countertops.
• Repairing and maintaining brickwork, cement blocks, and related masonry structures.
• Preparing foundation layers and bedding courses, and laying segmental paving as needed.

• Location: Auckland
• Job type: Full-time Permanent
• Pay rate: from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
• Days required: 5-6 days/week, roaster may apply
• Hours per week: At least 30

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or a relevant NZ level 4 qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
