ROLE:
In this role you will lead commercial construction projects from inception to completion working closely with quantity surveyors, site managers, and other key stakeholders. It is expected that you will bring a strong understanding of the NZ health & safety legislation, as well as being able to manage client and external stakeholder expectations.You'll oversea the management of Project programming, cost control, quality control, health & safety (zero harm), procurement, contracts administration, supervision, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors. You'll be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
SKILL SET:
- Demonstrated experience in commercial construction with a strong background in Project Management and leadership.
- Proven experience in planning, program management, and handling multi-million-dollar projects.
- Excellent communication, finance, budgeting and negotiation skills.
- Commitment and in-depth understanding of health and safety compliance.
- An Australasian recognized Trade qualification will be advantageous.
