Whanganui Kowhai Roofing is expanding its team for our Roof Restoration business. Our services primarily encompass roof restoration, with additional reroofing and building work.
This role is based in Whanganui, however we also service all of Taranaki.Majority of our work is currently based in Taranaki so applicants must be willing to travel and stay away at times. Accommodation supplied.
Responsibilities include:- Roof Maintenance
- Spray Painting
- Water Blasting
- Scaffolding
- Roofing, etc
- Hold a valid Driver's License and a have a reliable vehicle.
- Have 2+ years experience in roof maintenance or any construction related task.
- Willing to learn new techniques and skills.
- Commit to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Be willing to travel - This is a MUST. We service the entire Whanganui and Taranaki region. Travel and overnight stays in Taranaki will be required. Meals and accommodation provided. Vehicle available, conditions apply.
- Adapt to weather-dependent and varied work hours, including some weekend work.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and hardworking attributes.
- Be comfortable working at heights.
- Collaborate well with team members and work efficiently without supervision.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clear police record.
- Shared accommodation suitable for single person or couple available if interested in relocating to Taranaki or Whanganui - more details available.
Minimum wage starting at $23.15 per hour. $35 per hour maximum.
Minimum guaranteed hours of work is 30 per week.
A great package is available (including vehicle and more) for the right person.
