Surgical services areprovided for all the main surgical specialities including Cardiothoracic,Vascular, Neurosurgery, Trauma, Paediatric/Neonatal surgery and Obstetrics andGynaecology.Tertiary services providedfor patients from outside Canterbury include Acute Spine, Oncological surgeryand endovascular clot retrieval.
The department is accredited for training byANZCA and has a large number of trainees.The RoleWe are seeking to fill potential upcoming general SpecialistAnaesthetist positions based at Christchurch Hospital.
We currently are seekingexpressions of interest for both full-time permanent and fixed-term positions)both full-time permanent and fixed term positions (3 months up to 18 monthswith negotiable part- or full-time options).
The Department will endeavour toaccommodate specific clinical and non-clinical interests.
