You can learn more hereKo wai koe | About YouWeare seeking non-training Surgical Registrars to join us from 28 July 2025 The first 6 months of this positionwill be in General Surgery with runs forthe 2026 RMO to be confirmed through run allocations during the 2025 RMO yearNon-training SurgicalRegistrars rotate through the below services:CardiothoracicGeneral [...], Endovascular and TransplantRunsare 6 months long with the majority of runs providing points for surgicaltraining applications.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills& ExperienceCompleted PGY2 year or equivalentCompletion of your General Surgical Science Examination (GSSE) would be advantageousA keen passion for surgeryYou will have experience in a number of Surgical Services.Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
