We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to join our team and lead our bar operations to new heights.

Position Overview:
As the Bar Manager at The Grange Takapuna, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bar operations. You will ensure that our patrons receive outstanding service, our beverages are of the highest standard, and our bar runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for the hospitality industry, excellent management skills, and a deep understanding of current beverage trends.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards.

Train, mentor, and manage bar staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
Develop and maintain an innovative and diverse beverage menu that caters to our clientele.
Manage inventory, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to enhance the overall guest experience.
Monitor and analyze bar performance, including sales figures, to identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
Familiarity with POS systems and financial reporting.
A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

A current Duty Managers Certificate and LCQ (Liquor Controller Qualification).
