We're on the hunt for the ultimate sales champion to join our Queenstown Visitor Centre Team! You'll effectively sell our Real NZ experiences and bring with you a hunger to achieve optimum revenue performance. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to all visitors, therefore we are seeking someone to inspire and inform guests about our 'must see' and 'must experience' products.

This role also includes an operational aspect as you'll be responsible alongside the operations team to ensure our Coach, TSS Earnslaw, Jet Boats and Rafting experiences run smoothly.

This is a fixed term opportunity to cover our busy summer season.

As part of this role you will:

  • Create and identify sales opportunities for our experiences and accommodation
  • Maximise each sales opportunity by determining individuals requirements to achieve results
  • Create reservations for experiences and accommodation, confirming bookings
  • Influence guests with your passion to book a 'must see' experience
  • Deliver exceptional guest experience, including answering general enquiries
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge to effectively sell Real NZ experiences
  • Coordinate passenger manifests, ticketing and itineraries

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Sales experience
  • Confident and engaging communicator with a positive and exuberant can-do attitude
  • Excellent knowledge of Queenstown and Fiordland regions
  • Experience in reservations systems
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
