Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking for a maintenance engineer to join one of our clients based in Mangere. If you are knowledgeable in electrical/mechanical systems, IT and have a general understanding of infrastructure then this job is for you.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage an ongoing programme of preventative maintenance that ensures replacements and servicing schedules are conducted
• Maintain an onsite inventory or parts that can be used to respond to typical break/fix scenarios
• Engage with vendors to determine best practice approaches, continuous improvement and automation opportunities as and when required
• Work with Digital Support to ensure any technical spares for operations are also maintained and available in case of IT failure
• Perform support responsibilities for the times of the production week that the systems are running critical business processes
• Respond to incidents promptly, meeting outlined Service Level Agreements
• When required during an incident, collaborate with support partners to ensure that any issue or problem has the correct expertise needed to fix it
• Uptake Manager responsibilities when on leave
