Carpenter
Hastings
We are seeking Carpenters to join our team and contribute to various civil construction projects. The role involves formwork, framing, and general site carpentry to support drainage, concrete, and structural works. The position requires hands-on work in a team environment to meet project specifications and safety standards.
Benefits- Wages - $25-$30/hour
- Working Hours - Min 30 hrs/week
- Level 4- Trade Certificate or Diploma is required.
- OR one year of relevant experience is required.
Perform general civil construction carpentry, including formwork, boxing, and framing.
Prepare and erect timber framing, walls/roof trusses along with required fixings
Prepare/install all internal and exterior linings
Prepare building for various council inspections
All aspects of finishing carpentry works including doors, windows and skirtings etc
Read and interpret plans to ensure construction meets specifications.
Assist in assembling and dismantling temporary structures such as retaining walls and trench support.
Work alongside other trades and site workers to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct daily maintenance checks on tools and equipment.
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
Follow site safety procedures and comply with company policies
