Fieldair Engineering supports several aircraft operators at Wellington airport to ensure that all their Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is well maintained throughout the year.
We service and repair everything from Golf Carts to Lektro Pushbacks to TLD Pallet Loaders.

Available for an immediate start, great pay rate, plenty of hours and technical training opportunities.
To apply for this role, you will ideally have:- Recognisable Trade qualification as motor mechanic - (ideally NZQA level 4, trade certificate or diploma)
- Some welding or fabrication skills
- At least 2 years’ experience
- Able to work unsupervised
- Be honest, self-motivated, reliable and possess a can-do attitude.
- Great time management skills
- Class 1 & 2 clean licence (class 2 not essential but preferred)
- Be able to gain security clearance to work airside.
- Enjoy working as part of a small team.
Minimum 40 hours per week.
Brief Job Description:- Mechanical services
- Brake and clutch repairs
- Following OEM maintenance manuals and service sheets
- Steering and suspension repairs
- General vehicle servicing and repairs
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components
- Respond to GSE breakdowns on the aircraft apron.
