Support Worker Opportunity in Queenstown - Tahuna

Part Time: 20 hours per week
Work Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Work Hours: Varying between 10.00am to either 3.00pm or 5.00pm but willing to discuss.

Leave Cover: Additional hours would be required to cover leave periods of other team members.

About the role: We are looking for a motivated and empathic support worker to work alongside people we support in fabulous Queenstown.

Knowledge of the local community is essential as you will be supporting people to get involved with their local groups and access local services. Working in partnership with the people we support to enable great lives and make every day meaningful.

You will need a full NZ driver’s license and your own vehicle for this role.

If you are open minded, a great communicator, and a natural empowerment specialist, we would love to hear from you.

Understanding the enabling good lives principles and applying them would be ideal.

To work for us you must:

  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
  • Hold a full current NZ Driver License
  • Be eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Have a valid work visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
  • Be able to work at least one weekend shift per week
