Christchurch - Casual Manufacturing Assistants

We need Manufacturing Assistants for our pool of casual “first response” staff, whom we rely on to cover changes in production or staff absences. We text shifts out each Thursday afternoon to advise if work is available the following week, as well as during the week if we require anyone at short notice.

We have many different shifts from Monday to Friday available, over the hours of 6am until 11pm. The process is simple: you let us know your availability and we roster you shifts around those times. While shifts are typically 6-8 hours long, we can accommodate availability for as little as 4 hours per day.

What type of work would I be doing?

You may be assigned a wide variety of tasks which include but are not exclusive to; de-cartoning meat, line hanging, filling product into packets, or boxing product into cartons. As a result, it would suit a person who:

• Enjoys physical work, is fit and strong
• Is reliable and organised
• Has good communication skills, and is willing to speak up when they have a suggestion to make

What is the work environment like?

We work hard to employ good people! As well as a great team to work with, you can join our on-site strength gym, receive discount on product in our Factory Shop, and even though they say there is no such thing as a free lunch, we do provide a free breakfast!
