Casual Boarding Cattery Operator – Paws In Te Puna (Te Puna)

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Cattery Operator for casual weekend shifts, with occasional on-call opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitise cat runs and shared spaces
- Feed, monitor, and care for cats according to individual needs
- Prepare accommodation setups for arrivals
- Greet customers, process drop-offs/pick-ups
- Handle bookings, payments, and customer queries
- Maintain a calm, secure environment for our guests
- Experience working with animals (cattery, kennel, or veterinary setting preferred)
- Confident and gentle handling of cats
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transport to work weekends and occasional extra shifts
- (Bonus) Animal first aid knowledge or animal care qualification
- Pay: $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience
- Hours are generally 8-10am and 4-6pm Saturday and Sunday every 2nd week
