Southern Spice, a restaurant specialising Hyderbadi cuisine based Auckland, is looking for four cooks who can cook South Indian Hyderabadi dishes and curries. The role is full-time and permanent, with a pay of $29.66 per hour with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least two to three years' experience cooking Hyderabadi dishes and curries.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Must be willing to work during weekends/public holidays.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and cook dishes, season, and preserve foods.
  • Assist in planning and developing menus.
  • Ensure that all appliances are in working condition by ensuring they meet all applicable laws relating hygiene and safety.
  • Ensure that the kitchen is always kept clean.
  • Train other kitchen staff when required.
  • Such other duties are assigned from time to time.
