Southern Spice, a restaurant specialising Hyderbadi cuisine based Auckland, is looking for four cooks who can cook South Indian Hyderabadi dishes and curries. The role is full-time and permanent, with a pay of $29.66 per hour with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Must have at least two to three years' experience cooking Hyderabadi dishes and curries.
- Ability to work in a busy environment.
- Must be willing to work during weekends/public holidays.
The key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and cook dishes, season, and preserve foods.
- Assist in planning and developing menus.
- Ensure that all appliances are in working condition by ensuring they meet all applicable laws relating hygiene and safety.
- Ensure that the kitchen is always kept clean.
- Train other kitchen staff when required.
- Such other duties are assigned from time to time.
