Business Technology Operations Manager

About the Role
As our BT Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our infrastructure, service delivery, and technology support environment. You'll be responsible for release management, IT support services, streamlined processes, and ensuring strong governance across the board.This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on experience who can drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality IT operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage IT service operations across infrastructure, helpdesk, application support, and hybrid environments.
- Own ITIL-based service delivery frameworks, including incident, change, release, and problem management.
- Oversee vendor and contract management, ensuring optimal service delivery and performance.
- Drive service improvement and optimisation initiatives, including cloud migration projects.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit readiness, security, and risk management policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of DevOps and automation strategies.
- 7+ years in IT Service Delivery, ITSM, or IT Operations Management.
- 5+ years in a management role overseeing IT teams, infrastructure, services, and vendors.
- Proven experience managing hybrid infrastructure and IT support operations.
- Strong background in cloud services, release/change management, and automation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and modern ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive).
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance.
- Project Management experience is a strong advantage.
