Foreman / Forklift Operator - Christchurch

Join Our Team as a Foreman / Forklift Operator at Christchurch Factory

If you don’t already have a forklift licence, we will support you in obtaining one once you’re in the role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supervising factory staff, ensuring adherence to health & safety guidelines and company processes and quality standards.
• Providing training and issuing SOP (Safe Operating Procedure) sign-offs for staff operating factory machinery.
• Managing stock levels of materials for production, ensuring adequate supply and escalating shortages or additional needs to the Manager ahead of time to avoid delays.
• Placing concrete orders and overseeing concrete testing and recording (training provided).

Hands-on duties:

• Pouring, vibrating, and finishing concrete.
• Quality control checks.
• Loading rail wagons with finished products.
