HVAC Service Technician/Leading Hand - Christchurch - ref. l35015003

The Company**

Our client is market leading HVAC and Mechanical services provider with expertise in design, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their Christchurch Team.

**The Role

** A key part of the role will be ensuring projects and tasks have been completed on time and on budget. This will be achieved by allocating adequate resources and ensuring all materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed in advance for scheduled jobs.

• Overseeing and coordinating crews to deliver a high-quality service.
• Overseeing daily operations and addressing customer enquiries/concerns.
• Resolving technical issues and reporting back to Service Manager.
• Working in collaboration with the Project Team to manage inventory of HVAC equipment.
• Conducting regular QA checks of service work to ensure compliance with company standards, service contracts and industry regulations.
• Ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with safety regulations and best practices.
• Maintaining health and safety documentation.

• Proven experience in meeting project deadlines and budgets.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.
• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Certificate.
• EST license.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
