Obtain goods and services that are necessary for the operation of our client’s successful business. This involves reaching out to existing and potential suppliers, negotiating prices and terms of contracts, and managing the entire procurement process from start to finish.
Main Responsibilities- Relationship Management – develop and maintain effective relations to foster and encourage collaboration
- Lead negotiation – develop and implement cost-saving strategies while upholding quality and supplier performance
- Strategic thinking – able to identify issues for procurement and contract management
- Risk management – identify, mitigate and monitor risk
Looking for
- At least 5+ years in a strategic procurement role
- Experience with tendering, sourcing and lead negotiations
- Building and merchant knowledge will be highly favourable
- Resilient, Determined and adaptable to change
- Able to form a robust foundation for success
- Analytical thinker, logical and organised
