We provide Signals Intelligence and Cyber Security and resilience to organisations of national significance to successfully navigate in an unpredictable world.About the role:As the Technical Team Leader Development Experience (DevX) you will focus on providing an excellent experience to developers, analysts and other technical roles within the Technology & Data Directorate, and across the wider Security and Intelligence community.You will lead a team of engineers and work closely with your stakeholders to provide the enterprise tools and platforms necessary to integrate and embed DevSecOps practices across the community.
The role will promote and enable modern development philosophies such as containers-first, and mature capabilities required to make the NZIC a great place to work for technical practioners.Building a centre of excellence around the technologies your team deploys and supports, you will recognise opportunity cost to your customers, influence them on the benefits of change, and through your team support them in making and embedding those changes.Who are we looking for?The ideal applicant for this role is someone with a technical background who is looking for a mix of people leadership, business engagement, and perhaps some hands-on work thrown in.Experience we are looking for includes: DevSecOps, strong understanding of what it is, and how it adds value Stakeholder management, customer centricity and a focus on delivering value Adaptability and Resilience, the ability to manage complex technology work streams and associated problems People leadership, achieving results through othersIt would also be beneficial for you to have: Hands on experience working with commercial developer tools, such as Gitlab and Artifactory.
