Service Desk Support Analyst – Freshpork NZ (Based in Christchurch)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Support Analyst to join our Christchurch team and support our wider business in a technical capacity. If you pride yourself in your responsive, solutions-focused customer service, with a solid background in IT software support and a customer-focused approach to guiding those improving their technical capability, we’d like to hear from you.
Reporting to the ICT Manager, this role has responsibility providing 1st & 2nd Level support for users, with hardware, software and network requirements. We’re looking for someone with a mix of technical capabilities, and a human-centric creation of clear, concise and relevant training resources for all users and their capabilities.
What you’ll bring to the role:- As an experienced service desk professional (3+ years experience), you’ll be quick to respond to queries with practical solutions, in person and remotely.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and provide encouraging ICT support.
- An approachable manner and effective communicator both verbally and with correspondence, to swiftly respond to all ICT queries.
- Hands on experience with MS Office 365, Sharepoint and Power Platform.
- Knowledge of cloud-based systems, network infrastructure and ERP System experience.
- Experience creating user-friendly training resources and guiding people to learn or upskill their use of hardware and software.
- A focus on understanding business processes and providing solutions that benefit our users.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related experience (advantage but not essential).
