Description
Our Christchurch branch is seeking an energetic, warehouse all-rounder with warehouse experience to be part of a busy and growing business. An ability to work in a freezer environment is a mandatory requirement of the role.
Responsibilities:
General Warehouse Duties: Assist with general housekeeping, including maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.Order Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from shelves, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipping. Picking and packing orders in a freezer environment.
Forkhoist experience is preferred however training can be given.
Receiving and Dispatch: Receive incoming shipments, accurately record quantities, and prepare orders for dispatch.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure stock levels are optimized.
Quality Control: Ensure all outgoing products meet quality standards through careful inspection and adherence to company guidelines.
Requirements: Proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably as a generalist or all-rounder.
Must be prepared to work within a cold environment (freezer and chiller)Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and documenting information.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
