About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant Gastroenterologist to join the team at Whangarei Hospital.
A team of 4 supportive gastroenterologists are looking for an additional team member who can provide general GI and basic ERCP skills to support the care of the growing population in New Zealand's idyllic Northland. Our current advanced therapeutic endoscopist is eager to transition the ERCP patient case load over to a new energetic team member.Excellent departmental support is provided by Pathology, Surgery and Radiology.

About you
To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) in an Internal Medicine Vocational scope of practice.
Ideally you will possess FRACP or an equivalent qualification; however, we are open to hearing from advanced trainees nearing completion of their training. General GI, basic ERCP and GI luminal stent skills desired.
