- Work Hours: Full time basis (40 hours per week)
- Experience Required:
- 2 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role with a sound understanding of revenue recognition criteria.
- Experience in digital or media would be a huge asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Education:
- A Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- CPA Qualified or working towards CPA Qualification is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
l Adherence to revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS, agency policy, SOX policy and client contracts, including actioning accruals and deferrals.
l Use data to prepare quality financial analysis and management reports to support informed decision making.
l Ensure all prebills are reconciled and invoices are correctly offset against prebills where relevant (no overdue invoices due to prebills).
l Assist commercial manager and finance director with quarterly rolling forecasts
l Responsible for revenue recognition for project work. Ensure all jobs are up-to-date and reconciled on a timely basis in accordance with group policies.
l Assist during internal and external client audits.
l Compliance of client unbilled media refunds, management of the calendar
l Ad-hoc client reporting for global client teams for compliance
l Assist financial reporting team with revenue insights and monthly revenue analysis
l Coordinate and finalise all necessary month end reports i.e. Credit Note Summary, Invoice Summary.
l Support the forecasting and budgeting processes for the group and its agencies.
l Quarterly client profitability reporting for our agencies
