**ABOUT THE ROLE - NGA AHUATANGA O TE TURANGA**
As a core function of our Finance team, in this part-time role (25 hours per week), you will provide organisation-wide advice and support with accounts payable and purchase orders. Working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, you'll ensure the daily accurate processing of supplier invoices and due date payments and facilitate this by assisting staff to correctly use Council's electronic purchase order system.
You'll run monthly reconciliations aiming to minimise the number of outstanding invoices, taking care to adhere to all required documentation processes.

Ideally, you'll bring experience gained from working in a similar role/organisation or knowledge gained from a relevant field of study.
