Mō te tūnga'| About the role As Senior Project Coordinator you will support the delivery of priority programmes and projects; and governance, business planning, risk management and assurance activity for the organisation.
Your role will be in HUD's Governance, Planning and Programmes team.This team manages HUD's enterprise portfolio governance, risk, assurance and planning functions, as well as provides tailored programme and project management support to HUD's teams.
As Senior Project Coordinator you will work closely with the other members of the team and provide support across these organisational and project activities.
Responsibilities of the Senior Project Coordinator include but are not limited to:Organising and supporting meetings, including managing logistics, preparing agendas, papers and related materials; capturing meeting minutes and actions as required for internal and external audiencesProviding administrative support to programme and project activity, following best practice methodology, including:Managing project plans, risks, issues and decision logsTaking minutes at governance meetings and following-up on actionsCoordinating the updating of documentation as per the reporting cycle (budget vs actuals, status reporting, risks and issue logging, etc), ensuring systems, registers, policies and processes are up to date and appropriately filedIdentifying opportunities to improve business processes across the team's functionsPreparing documentation for internal and external audiencesCoordinating information and data for internal and external reporting
- including collecting, compiling, and presenting data on programme activitiesBeing a first point of contact by managing shared e-mail inboxesSharing information across teams (as appropriate) to support the seamless flow of activities.
Ideally your skills and experience will includeUnderstanding of complex work environments, preferably in a public sector or outcome-based business or organisationProven experience of programme or project co-ordination of complex, large scale or multiple projects dealing with internal and external stakeholdersProven ability to write memos, prepare reports and other documentationStrong administrative skills and experienceStrong attention to detail and robust time management skills with a positive can-do attitudeHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and problem-solving skillsExperienced and comfortable with Microsoft Suite of products, including Excel, Visio, Project and Planner Mō mātou |'About us Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga reflects the intention of 'the foundation for a treasured home'.
