Facilities Specialis Services Technician

OCS NELSON is seeking a Facilities Specialist Services Technician to join our busy Nelson team. We envisage you will be confident and friendly, be able to produce relevant reports, work within budgets and of course provide a high level of accurate service.
To be successful for this role you will possess the following skills- Test and tag qualification or willing to gain
- Able to put your hand to anything and get the job done, including but not limited to:
- Repair and maintenance of equipment
- PPM / GSE Inspections and reporting
- regular Handyman work
- painting
- tag and testing
- carpentry
- furniture assembly
- dispenser installs.
- Floor scrubs
- High wall dusting
- Carpet machine extraction
- Sweeping & polishing using machines
- Window cleaning
- Strip & seals
- Water blasting
- Trade cleans as and when required
- Trauma cleans as and when required
Gardening/landscaping, Building washes, Grounds maintenance, Spraying, Path cleaning/ Moss Control and pest control.
You will be given full training, however prior experience in commercial cleaning, machine operation or similar trades/services will be highly beneficial to your success in this role.
Shifts detail:Must be flexible with working hours to suit operational needs - fluctuating at times from days to nights and some hours over weekends.
Requirements:- hold and maintain Full NZ Driver License
- loading of equipment and experience with basic power hand tools
Must pass a Police check, Ministry of Justice check and be eligible to work in New Zealand
