- Adult Community Mental Health ServicesBased in WarkworthPermanent Part-time role64 hours per fortnightMonday to FridayAbout UsRodney Adult Community Mental health Team is part of the wider Waitemata District and has recovery teams based on three different sites, Helensville, Warkworth and Red Beach.
The acute team and the assertive intervention team are based at the Red Beach site however they cover the whole region.
We are also part of the wider district with the introduction of the Co Response Team which is based at the North Shore police station.This is an exciting opportunity for clinicians to work with police officers and Kaimanaaki to support those who present to police in an urgent capacity but would in fact benefit from a more combined approach.About the Role and About YouWe are now recruiting for a Registered Nurse or Nurses with significant mental health experience to join the team based in Warkworth on a permanent basis.
An opportunity has presented itself which is allowing us to review the FTE and how it is formatted within this team.We are therefore looking at options of either one nurse to cover both aspects of the role Recovery and Primary Care Liaison or two nurses one for either role.Primary Care Liaison Role
- Working closely with GPs and the referrals management team to support the referrals for clients that do not require significant input from a secondary Mental Health Service, however do require some investigation, possible one off assessment and guidance.
This role also involves some GP liaison.Recovery Role – Working to support clients under the recovery team providing assessment, implementation of plans, risk assessments and follow up.
