Sheep and Beef Stock Manager

Patoka Station is a 1200ha intensive sheep and beef breeding and finishing property, running Romney sheep and Angus cattle. We are committed to producing top quality stock and maintaining high standards of animal welfare, while providing a safe and supportive work environment for our staff.

This position would suit someone who has:

• Excellent stock management, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to high standards of quality, safety and animal well-being.
• Initiative, problem solving and communication skills are a must.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new ways of thinking.
• Accurate record keeping skills and use of Cloud Farmer.
• A reliable team of 3-4 working dogs.

This position will ultimately come with a lot of responsibility. It may well suit an Experienced Shepherd who is willing to work closely with the Manager/Owner, to ease into a Stock Management role.
