Service Manager - Te Awamutu
The individual we are looking for will be someone who can hit the ground running and not only maintain but expand on the growth our Service Department has already gone through. You must be enthusiastic and enjoy giving 110% to customer relations.
You will have the opportunity to unlock the greater potential of this department and further develop it within the service spectrum. You will be managing technicians on a daily, weekly and monthly basis aswell as dealing with our wonderful customers and suppliers.
We are a Honda franchised dealer that sells and services new and used motorcycles and supply parts and accessories. We sell and service other brands of secondhand quads and two wheelers and we stock and sell a wide range of Husqvarna and Honda Outdoor Power Products also, which include ride-on and push lawnmowers.We want the right person to be able to maintain and more importantly, grow this department.

A few KEY attributes we are looking for in a person for this role are:
- Excellent communication skills, presentation & phone manner – you will be interacting with customers and we expect you to be friendly, positive and of a helpful nature in your dealings with them and with your team of technicians. Interpersonal skills are a must. You will have communications with a wide array of people; being confident in forming relationships with customers and suppliers is imperative.
- You will have sound background knowledge in the agricultural and/or automotive industry. Prior experience in a role of this caliber or that of similar is advantageous but not necessary. If you have other relatable or transferrable knowledge that you believe would be advantageous then we want to hear about it.
- You will have high time-management priorities. Within this role you will be managing a variety of communications with customers and staff being able to manage from start to finish whilst keeping yourself responsive in other areas such as email communications for example, are very important.
The successful applicant will be joining a busy team and you will have a vital role in assisting your fellow team members. Days of work will be Mondays to Fridays with no weekend work. A company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone will be included in the remuneration
