Airconditioning & Refrigeration Mechanics
Airconditioning & Refrigeration Mechanics required throughout the Nelson/Tasman region!
OneStaff is looking for experienced Airconditioning & Refrigeration mechanics. You will need to be reliable and motivated. You might be asked to work across the country to assist with our projects, so flexibility is preferred. The normal duties to be performed comprise all activities related to installing, repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment including but not limited to:
Duties include:- Installing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems
- Assembling and preparing the tools & equipment needed for the installation
- Operating a variety of hand & power tools needed for HVAC installation
- Diagnosing faults for the HVAC System
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC system.
- Read, understand, and interpret drawings and specification to establish job requirements
- Testing HVAC systems and adjusting if necessary
- Filling system and checking for leaks
- Following health & safety measures at work
- Minimum 2.5 years of relevant experience
- Be physically fit
- Be technically capable
- Good understanding of Health & Safety best practices
Hours of work: Minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed.
Location: You may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago & Southland
This is a full-time role. Applicants must be a NZ Citizen/Resident or should have a valid NZ work visa.
