Truck Driver

The position is full time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hrs per week. The pay rate will be between $30 - $32 per hour.

• Drive a truck, loading and unloading for deliveries and pickup.
• Must be fit for manual handling and pallet jack delivery for Residential and Business customers.
• Being able to fill in the job sheets and timesheets on a daily basis.
• Ensure compliance with NZ driving/operating rules and health & safety rules are complied with at all times.
• Taking responsibility of securing the loads to prevent loss and damages, document verification as required, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries if required, ensuring safe distribution of weight.
• Wash, clean and grease your trucks on a weekly basis, making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely.
• Punctual, clean and tidy appearance, good customer service skills, act in a cautious and cooperative manner towards customers and co-workers.

• Have a clean Class 4 or Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Relevant 1 year work experience.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Have good communication skills
• Be physically fit.
• Be able to self-load.
• Have a clear criminal record.
