Due to upcoming maternity leave, we are looking for someone to take over our accounts and payroll function to ensure a smooth, efficient and compliant week across all payroll and accounts activity. You thrive on productivity and precision!Knowledge of HR processes and NZ Employment Law would be advantageous, as would experience using Xero and exposure to the civil and construction industries - however software training and industry specifics can easily be learned on the job.
This is a part time role of around 30 hours, and we are flexible to make this work for you. Currently this role is a 12 month maternity cover role, but there could be opportunity to make this permanent. You will be based in our Christchurch office, currently by the airport and will be moving office in a couple months to a brand spanking new one in town.
To note: this role will also include some administration support around candidate registration, compliance and health & safety as the business grows. So a "good sort" attitude where you are willing to support the team as needed is essential!
