Due to retirement we have a position available in our pricing team for an Estimator.
Lewis Windows is a long established business specialising in supplying Aluminium joinery to homes in the Southland and Central Lakes region for over 45 years.
The ideal person will be:- Professional and positive interfacing internally and externally, with the ability to forge strong working relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills - Word/Excel.
- Can read and interpret architectural plans.
- Experienced QS working across multiple projects.
- Experience in residential and commercial window and door joinery is an advantage.
- Excellent people skills while under pressure to meet deadlines with Staff, Builders, and Homeowners.
- Have an enthusiastic ‘make it happen’ attitude and are able to fit into a dynamic and proactive team.
- NZ Resident.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Inputting quotes (knowledge of V6 ideal).
- Overseeing major tenders.
- Answering phone calls and dealing with customers & suppliers.
- Liaising with major contractors / project managers / customers regarding quotes / variations.
