Duties and responsibilities
position - Diesel mechanic
  1. 40 hours weekly
Pay Rate- $32- $40

We are seeking a reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our
dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and
repairing diesel-powered vehicles and machinery, ensuring optimal
performance and safety. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention

to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and Diagnose faults in vehicle engines, transmissions, electrical
systems, brakes, suspension, and other mechanical components.
  • Disassemble and extract engine assemblies, steering systems and other
associated components, followed by inspecting and evaluating the
condition of each part.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts, such as engines, transmissions, fuel
systems, and brakes, ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance
standards.
  • Inspect and test vehicles to diagnose mechanical issues using
computerized diagnostic tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance; such as oil changes, brake inspections,
repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and other machinery.
  • Perform safety inspections and emissions tests to ensure vehicles meet
regulatory standards and compliance with pollution regulations.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts, such as engines, transmissions, fuel
systems, and brakes, ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance
standards.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks to ensure equipment and
vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Reattach engines and other parts after repair to ensure the efficient
performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor
hours and service history.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Assist in maintaining the workshop by organizing tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and service
needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies and diesel
engine innovations
  • Responsible for changing oil, wheel balancing, alignment including brake

checks

Level 4 Or Higher Qualification is preferable
