The Company
Our client is supplier of top quality construction materials, tools and appliances. They currently have 4 staff in their sales team at the South Auckland site. Due to growth, they are now seeking a new Internal Sales Representative/ Account Manager to add to their team.
The Role
In this role, you will primarily be managing existing customer accounts with some new business development. This is a telephone centric role with some face-to-face interactions with customers on site from time to time. You will need to be confident in talking on the phone and have advanced verbal communication skills.You will need to be able to think on your feet and engage in dynamic conversations with customers where unforeseen challenges or opportunities may arise. Experience or exposure in the civil construction industry, trade or industrial sector would be very advantageous but not essential.
You will be working closely alongside the Director and other members in the sales team in the office during normal business hours. This is either a full time or part-time role working 3 days a week. Attractive hourly rate on offer with incentives and bonuses from meeting sales targets and KPIs.
In summary, the requirements are,- Prior experience working in an account management/ telesales role
- Advanced telephonic and verbal communication skills
- Civil construction, trade or similar industry experience is highly preferred
- CRM experience and admin skills
- Organised and reliable
- Must have valid NZ work rights
