About our ServiceWork closely with a supportive and enthusiastic consultant team and skilled nursing and allied health teamsAn accredited Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) paediatric training site.Ability to gain excellent experience of general paediatrics in a provincial centre, including a busy inpatient unit, outpatients and a busy level 2 Neonatal Unit.
Supported by specialist ED and ICU services with good access to radiology and laboratory services.Includes a Paediatric Fellow and provides opportunities for trainee interns and medical students Whangārei is the largest hospital in Northland, providing secondary care services for the region, supported by four regional hospitals.
Northland covers an area of 12,600 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 201,000.As a region Northland is renowned for its beautiful beaches and relaxed lifestyle.
