Requirements (Essential)

• Attention to detail
• Having can-do attitude
• Willingness to follow instructions
• Two years relevant experience

• Determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriers
• Measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing

• Preparing corner beads and securing them in position
• Fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings
• Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smoothing them

• Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement and render to structures using trowels, and

• Plumbing and straightening corners, angles and wall and ceiling surfaces
• Creating decorative textures in finishing coats
• Applying and finishing acoustic, insulating and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster,

• Painting residential and commercial properties using brush, roll and spray
• Applying and pealing wallpapers
• plastering inside, gib fitting
• Following plan for a renovation
• Erecting and dismantling temporary scaffolding under 5 meters in height
• Removing and installing doors, handles, curtains and other hardware
• Other adhoc duties depending on experience and skills

• Wage of $25/hour; minimum 30 hours/week guaranteed.
• Maximum wage $28/hour
