Willowbank Wildlife Reserve is a popular local and international tourist destination in Christchurch.
The onsite café/restaurant is a very popular addition to a visit to Willowbank.
We are looking for a full-time cafe chef. This is predominantly a daytime position. As well as cabinet food, we run an a la carte lunch menu and hold occasional evening functions.
Due to the seasonal nature of the business the hours can fluctuate and change. Expected days are Thursday-Monday (5days), of 35-40 hours.
Applicants should be a capable and competent chef. Experience and/or a passion for baking would be an asset and the ability to work well as part of a team is vitally important.
