The Network Operation Centre (NOC) Supervisor is a crucial leadership position, guiding a dynamic team of NOC Operators to ensure seamless, round-the-clock service delivery in a fast-paced, 24/7 rotating shift environment. This role is a robust combination of technical know-how, strong leadership abilities, and adept problem-solving skills to uphold exceptional service standards and ensure system reliability.
Key responsibilities encompass system monitoring, incident management, Help Desk support, and maintaining precise records. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for training, mentoring, and nurturing a vibrant team culture, while also working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of operations with broader business goals.Adherence to NZTA safety regulations is vital, and the supervisor may lend support to other departments when necessary. Success in this role hinges on excellent leadership, technical prowess, and exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements- Demonstrated leadership experience in a NOC or a comparable operational setting.
- Solid grasp of system monitoring tools and processes for effective incident management.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and guiding a team towards success.
- A keen eye for detail combined with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks is highly sought after.
- Experience with Linux operating systems is strongly valued.
- Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
- A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating shift roster, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
