Garden Labourers – Full-Time (Auckland)

Best Garden in Auckland is looking for Garden Labourers to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. We offer a hourly rate ranging from $24 to $25, depending on your skills and experience.

No prior work experience or qualifications are required, however, any skills, experience, knowledge, or qualifications in gardening & landscaping will be considered an advantage.

Requirements – We expect candidates to:

• Be available to work any day from Monday to Sunday
• Winter hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Summer hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Be able to arrange your own transportation, because the work place may very as we serve customers across all Auckland regions (we reimburse travel costs)
• Be available to work on urgent jobs even during rainy days, when required
• Be willing to work weekends and public holidays if needed
• Be drug-free and have a clean police record

Your main duties will include:

• Loading, unloading, and moving garden supplies and equipment
• Preparing garden sites using hand tools and machinery
• Assisting with planting and transplanting flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns
• Maintaining gardens (watering, weeding, mowing lawns)
• Cleaning gardens and removing rubbish
• Performing any other related duties assigned by the owner
