This role involves designing and facilitating dementia-specificeducation sessions and developing person-centred support for other registeredhealth professionals in aged residential and home-based care.

The DementiaEducation Facilitator function additionally extends to the wider OPMH service,offering support, advice, care-plan mapping and education to OPMH staff.About YouThesuccessful candidate will be a confident practitioner with suitable experienceworking with tangata whai ora / clients with mate wareware / dementia, who hasa passion for developing, promoting, and facilitating person-centred dementiacare education.

Experience in developing and presenting educational resourceswill be an advantage.
Necessary personal attributes would includeself-motivation, excellent interpersonal skills, and diverse communicationskills that enhance delivery of learning goals.Thisis a 0.8 FTE, permanent part-time position, working within Monday
