Structural Steel Fabricator's - Bay of Plenty

We are looking for Structural Steel Fabricators to join our business, Extrastaff Limited. Our growing business requires an organised and trustworthy individual who pride yourself on quality workmanship. You will be motivated and result driven.

The Structural Steel Fabricator is responsible for:* Interpret and follow engineering plans, blueprints and technical drawings* Assemble steel structures and secure them using bolts, rivets or welding* Install structural steel components at construction sites* Cute, shape and weld steel materials to required specifications by using machine or hand tools* Inspect and maintain equipment and tools for safe and effective operation* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards* Collaborate with engineers, crane operators, riggers and other tradespeople on site* Perform repairs or modifications to existing steel structures when necessary Skills and experience required:* At least 2 years' work experience in steel fixing, welding, fabrication or related occupations* Friendly, with good time management and excellent work ethic are essential* Time management skills* A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry* Sound knowledge of H and S procedures* Reliable and hardworking* Pass the drug test and criminal check Pay ConditionsMin $27.00 per hour to a maximum of $30.oo per hour Hours of workMinimum 30 hours of work is guaranteed Location You may be required to occasionally travel to Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago and Southland.
