Senior Automotive Technician - VW | Audi | Porsche

One of our young technicians off on his OE. So we looking for a mature, skilled and collected technician to join the team.

We’re a professional, family run automotive service and repair business located in Campbells Bay who’s focused on Porsche, Audi and VW. We have a neat little workshop with lots of gear and a great culture. Our team consists of 3 technicians plus the owner (also a technician) and the office lady (his wife).

• Can follow and read instructions. Is also process driven
• Can think and work independently
• Wants to better themselves and those around them
• Speaks, reads and writes English fluently
• Is digitally savvy; we work on a paperless shop management system.

Normal hours are 7:45am to 5:15pm Monday to Friday with every second Friday off!

• Have at least 8 years of experience as an automotive technician and are trade qualified
• Have automotive industry training; either Franchise dealership training or aftermarket
• Have vast experience and knowledge working on Audi, VW or Porsche. From small jobs to large. (Timing chains, engine rebuilds, transmissions, dash jobs etc).
• Are productive and efficient
• Are proficient in mechanical and electrical diagnostics (fault finding from noises to AC issues to CAN bus issues to module coding).
• Are proficient with scan tools (including ODIS, PIWIS) and oscilloscopes.
• You have a very very high attention to detail
• If you have a WOF inspectors ticket that's a bonus but not required.

• You must be in NZ and have residency.
