Office Assistant

Normans Auto Electrical & Mechanical is a family owned, well established business which has been providing high quality work and great customer service at our centrally located site for over 40 years. The Role:

We are looking for an administrative assistant to join our friendly team in our Central Dunedin workshop.

This role will be assisting in the office with the hours from 10:15am to 5:45pm Monday to Friday

The key responsibilities of the role are listed below:

• Handling incoming phone calls and directing them appropriately
• Dealing with customers face to face
• Booking in jobs and obtaining all the necessary customer information for the job
• Maintaining accurate job card and data entry
• Assisting with banking tasks and balancing at end of day
• Managing processing creditors and debtors
• Performing general administrative duties as required
• Supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks

Our ideal candidate with have the following attributes:

• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Strong organisational skills,
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Have good attention to detail
• Enjoying working as part of a team
• Have a positive friendly attitude
• Hold a current NZ Drivers License
