Duty Manager - Tauranga
Thai Thani restaurant Tauranga
Thai Thani located in Papamoa is looking for a dynamic hospitality professional to join our small but busy team on a full time basis. 30 - 40 hours per week. You will have control over the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and with your attention to detail, focus on delivering a high level of service to our clients.
You will be required to work some evenings, weekends and public holidays on a shift roster basis.
Your responsibility as the duty manager is to ensure our clients a memorable, relaxed and authentic Thai dining experience through:
- Ensuring a high level of cleanliness front and back of house, at all times
- Ensuring a high level of food hygiene is adhered to at all times
- Organise and manage staff to ensure optimum running efficiency within the restaurant
- Receiving and managing reservations
- Meeting, greeting and seating people
- Ensure efficient communications between front and back of house staff
- Providing feedback and recommendations through daily logs and staff meetings to help improve the overall image
The successful applicant will have the following:
- At least one year of work experience in a hospitality role
- A qualification in hospitality is preferred but not mandatory
- You will already have (or the ability to obtain), your LCQ and Manager’ Certificate
- Be a team player
- Be willing to submit to random drug testing
